I've been taking French classes with Sophie for over 10 years. It started when I wanted to brush up on my college French before a trip to Paris in 2013. The classes helped me get back important skills, so my stay in Paris was extra special. I have continued classes with Sophie because they are excellent and always enjoyable. She is a creative teacher and uses many different ways to strengthen our vocabulary, oral comprehension, and speaking. These include reading good French literature, both classical and contemporary, listening to podcasts about modern French culture, dictation, stimulating grammar review, writing stories and critiques, and, of course, lots of conversation. She is also a positive teacher; her correction of our grammar and pronunciation is constructive and encouraging. I highly recommend Sophie as a Superprof de français!
