About Maxine

My name is Maxine, and I'm French. I'm 22 years old and currently studying for a Master's degree in Literature in Spain. I have a degree in French Literature, which gives me a lot of useful theoretical knowledge when teaching. I love reading, climbing, and doing yoga. I also enjoy discovering new things, so I appreciate it when students bring their own interests to class. I'm very open, patient, and, above all, I never judge a student for making mistakes. It's perfectly normal and part of the learningexperience. I myself make mistakes in Spanish sometimes! Asking questions or making mistakes isn't a sign of being stupid; it means we're trying. And that's what's most important. My goal is to support people who want to learn—or who need to for exams—without pressure, judgment, and with a smile.

About the lesson

I'm a native French speaker and have been living in Spain for over a year. So I'm fluent in both languages (as well as in English). After spending a year as a language assistant, I was able to develop my own teaching method. I adapt it to each student's needs. The classes are interactive and as dynamic as possible. Typically, half of the class is dedicated to theory, and the other half to practical activities, to give meaning to all this rather abstract theory. I can also prepare students for language exams.
I welcome all levels. I love seeing people motivated to learn about my language and culture ! It's never too late, it's never impossible.
