About Eleanor

I’m a friendly, patient language lover who genuinely enjoys helping people feel confident when they speak French. I’ve lived between French- and English-speaking environments, so I understand the challenges learners face and love guiding them through the process with encouragement and humour.

French Conversational Class – Description

My French conversational lessons are designed to help learners speak with confidence, ease, and authenticity. I focus on creating a relaxed, encouraging environment where you feel comfortable expressing yourself, making mistakes, and gradually improving your fluency.

My Teaching Approach & Methodology
I use a communicative, immersion-based approach: we speak French as much as possible from the very first session. Lessons are structured around real-life topics such as travel, work, daily life, culture, and personal interests, so you can immediately apply what you learn.
To build confidence and fluency, I combine:

Guided conversation and role-plays

Vocabulary building through contextual phrases

Pronunciation practice

Light grammar explanation when useful, always tied to practical usage

Interactive activities (pictures, prompts, games, short readings, audio clips)

Every class is tailored to your goals, learning style, and pace. My priority is to help you speak naturally and enjoy the process.

Typical Lesson Length
Standard lessons are 60 minutes, but I also offer 30-minute sessions for learners who prefer shorter, more frequent practice.

Beginners, intermediate, and upper-intermediate learners

Adults and teens (12+)

Anyone who wants to improve conversational skills, travel fluency, pronunciation, or everyday communication
