About Delphine
I’m Delphine, a native French speaker from Belgium, now living in London where I’m doing a master’s in Global Mental Health at King’s College London.
I grew up speaking French and also speak Dutch and English fluently, so I know from experience what it’s like to learn a new language, and how much confidence matters when you start speaking.
I have a degree in psychology and have worked with children and young people in mental health settings, as well as in international environments. This has taught me to be patient, adapt to each person, and create a comfortable space where learners feel free to make mistakes and grow.
I love meeting new people and sharing my language and culture. I can’t wait to help you speak French with confidence!

My lessons are all about speaking French with confidence. No boring grammar drills: we learn by actually talking.
How I teach:
Each lesson is built around real conversation. We talk about things that interest you, like your hobbies, travel, work, school or everyday situations such as ordering in a café or chatting with new people. Along the way, I help you:
- Build vocabulary you'll actually use, learned in context so it sticks
- Improve your understanding with short videos, articles or audio we discuss together
- Speak more naturally, with gentle corrections and tips on how French is really spoken
I adapt every lesson to your level, age and goals, and I keep the atmosphere relaxed, so you never feel afraid to make mistakes. That's how you learn!
Lesson format
Lessons can take place in person in London or online, whichever suits you best. The length is flexible too: we can do 45 minutes, 1 hour, 1 hour and 30 or longer, depending on what works for you.
About me
I'm a native French speaker from Belgium, and I also speak Dutch and English, so I understand what it's like to learn a new language. I have a degree in psychology and experience working with children and young people, which helps me create a patient, supportive space where learners feel comfortable.
Who it's for
Learners of all ages, from children discovering French for the first time to adults who want to practise speaking and gain fluency. Beginners and advanced learners are both welcome.
