About Alexis
I have yet never given French lessons in a manner of speech, but I have many English-speaking friends who I have helped.
Some of them were simply trying to improve their fluency in French: we talked a lot about various topics, and I corrected them only when what they said was confusing. Fluidity does not mean perfection! And I think at some point what matters is to be understood plainly and without having to overthink every little sentence we want to say.
Some wanted to understand subtleties, so we dived into grammar, etymology of words and etc. Since I speak English, I was able to give them a lot of answers and tricks to understand our language better.

I am a former medical student who stopped his residency to start an artistic career. But that's not what matters here. What matters is that I am a great enthusiast of languages and linguistics.
I learned English with such passion that I speak it almost perfectly today. I started learning German, then Italian. And more recently Hebrew, Russian, and even Irish. The more I learn foreign languages, the more I happen to reflect upon mine own; I understand it better, and I begin to comprehend it from a foreigner's point of view.
I can help you improve yourself in oral and written expression and comprehension, grammar, and pronunciation.
If you are a foreigner and want to start learning French, or you already speak a little and want to improve yourself, you are my ideal student!
If your mother tongue is English (or if you speak it fluently), our collaboration will be easy! If your language is German or Italian, although I'm not quite as good at those as I am at English yet, I should also be able to help you.

Alexis est une personne qui se donne à fond pour réussir ce qu'il entreprend. Ses précieux conseils en médecine et en musique ont été très bénéfiques pour moi.
