About Samuel
Bonjour! I’m a native French speaker and a PhD student in Physics at Heriot-Watt University. I’ve been teaching on Superprof for over 6 years in France, offering support in French, English, maths, physics, and even piano, to students ranging from middle school to first-year university. I’m open to learners of all ages and levels. My teaching style is naturally relaxed and supportive, but I can also provide a more structured approach with homework and clear goals if that’s what you prefer. Whether you’re preparing for exams, improving your French for conversation, or building confidence in grammar, pronunciation, or writing, I’ll adapt the lessons to your needs. We can arrange 1–2 hours of lessons per week, online or in-person. For in-person sessions, I’m available in the Morningside, Bruntsfield, Slateford, Polwarth, Merchiston and close areas. Having lived in France for most of my life, I’m also happy to share cultural insights, especially helpful for school and university students or young adults who want to understand the language and the culture behind it.
