I have a firm belief that learning and progression is best achieved through a combination of reading, speaking, listening and writing/grammar practice.
Being able to understand a language progressively through written and listening comprehension gives students the confidence when trying the language for themselves which is why comprehension is a key pillar which also boosts student confidence.
I like to assess where my students are at and where they are facing difficulties, as well as where their strengths lie. This can then be used to outline what the student would like to achieve from the classes so we are able to define goals and objectives and I can plan lessons accordingly based on each student's needs.
