About Eran
My name is Eran, I’m 27, and I’m a graduate of USYD where I studied Commerce and Science, although I'm in the process of completing a Masters of Science. I'm passionate about pharmacology and how drugs work in the body. I originally started in finance, realized it wasn’t for me, and switched into my real interest: drug action, safety, and clinical application.
I’ve done well academically in advanced pharmacology subjects, with an 82 in Drug Design and Development, 80 in a pharmacology based Research Project, and 77 in Neuropharmacology. I know what lecturers and examiners are looking for, and I remember clearly what it’s like when the content feels dense or abstract.

At top-tier universities, it’s common for around 60% of the total course mark to come from exams where you cannot use AI or other tools. That means you actually need to understand the material well enough to think on your feet under exam conditions, not just copy answers.
What I can help with Pharmacology specific subjects as well as Pharmacy stream courses.
I focus on the core building blocks that make everything else in pharmacology easier to understand:
Pharmacodynamics (where and how drugs act in the body)
Pharmacokinetics (absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion)
Receptor theory and dose–response relationships
Therapeutic index and safe dosing principles
Adverse drug reactions, drug–drug interactions, and basic toxicology
Within ethical boundaries, I can help you:
Make sense of lecture content and readings
Prepare for exams with targeted concept review and practice questions
Clarify assignments and research-style questions (while respecting academic integrity)
Why not just use AI?
AI can be useful, but it also makes confident mistakes. If you don’t already know the material, it’s hard to spot when it’s wrong. In pharmacology, that can seriously derail your understanding. And in high-stakes exams-where you can’t use AI at all-you’re on your own with what’s actually in your head.
Working with a human tutor means you can ask follow-ups, check your reasoning in real time, and learn how to interpret data and distinguish what really matters from what doesn’t. Sessions are straightforward, friendly, and focused on building your intuition so you can tackle new questions on your own.
In the age of information, pop‑science is more pervasive than ever, often reducing complex physiological systems to slogans like “cortisol = stress” or “dopamine = reward”. I aim to help you unpack these topics properly and build the depth of understanding that is ultimately required to succeed in pharmacology and related subjects.
