About May
Hello! My name is May. I'm a native Chinese speaker with a strong background in Chinese language and culture. I hold a bachelor's degree in English and am fluent in both spoken and written Chinese and English.
I've lived in the United States for over 20 years, working full-time as a professional interpreter while teaching Chinese part-time. I have experience teaching Mandarin to children and enjoy helping students of all ages learn with confidence.
My lessons are practical, personalized, and focused on real-life communication. Whether you're learning Chinese for travel, work, school, or personal interest, I'll make learning enjoyable, engaging, and easy to follow.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, camping, cooking, singing, and spending time outdoors. I look forward to helping you achieve your Chinese learning goals!
