About Samuel
I am an engineering student at the University of Washington. I volunteered as a teacher's assistant at Seattle Chinese School for four years and I have been tutoring Chinese since 2015. I am a native speaker of Chinese and my students have drastically improved in their listening and speaking skills after receiving my instruction.

I am a native Chinese speaker who has lived in Taiwan for 10 years. I have tutored students from kindergarten through high school in Chinese. My lessons involve a conversational portion to practice speaking and listening skills as well as writing and reading practices. The content of my lessons is adjusted based on the needs of each student. I evaluate my students every lesson and prepare the suitable materials for the following lesson based on the evaluation. I value effective learning in my lessons; I try to maximize learning during the lesson time as long as the student is performing well.
