About Jinsong
My name is Jin. I graduated from a Chinese university and earned a degree from UCL. Currently based in London, I am passionate about teaching Mandarin to foreigners and sharing Chinese culture with a global audience. With my academic background and firsthand experience navigating different cultures, I focus on making Mandarin learning engaging and practical for everyday use. This beginner Chinese speaking course helps you build a strong foundation in Mandarin. You'll learn essential phrases, tones, and vocabulary to engage in everyday conversations. With interactive practice and real-life scenarios, you'll develop confidence and accuracy. Lesson Plan: Basic Introductions Greetings: Learn "Hello" (你好, nǐ hǎo) and "Goodbye" (再见, zài jiàn). Self-Introduction: Practice "I am..." (我是..., wǒ shì...) and "My name is..." (我叫..., wǒ jiào...). Simple Questions: Ask "What’s your name?" (你叫什么名字?, nǐ jiào shénme míngzì?). Tone Practice: Master tones with words like 妈 (mā) and 马 (mǎ). By the end, you'll hold a basic conversation confidently!
