About Xuemei
Hi, my name is Xuemei and I am a Chinese tutor.
I was born and raised in Beijing and have lived there for more than 40 years. Being from the capital of China, I am native in the most standard form of Mandarin.
Whatever your goal might be for learning Chinese, I would love to help and pass on my knowledge of the Chinese language and create a completely immersive language learning experience (I also love to discuss about the culture as well!).

During our first lesson, we will be discussing your goals for this learning experience, what you want to gain and improve on. Then, I will be assessing your current skill levels to create a completely customized learning plan for you.
Born and raised in Beijing, I have spent more than 40 years in China and have knowledge of the most appropriate and natural way to communicate in Chinese in all different types of situations. Whether you are trying to learn phrases and sayings for going about daily life, preparing for an upcoming Chinese exam, or want to know about using Chinese in business settings, I am more than happy and capable to help.
I am open to teaching students from all levels and will be personalizing my approaches to your learning style and goals.
