About Mattie
I was born in Rio de Janeiro, but my life in Brazil is set in São Paulo. There I attended a very prestigious school called "Colégio Visconde de Porto Seguro" and is where my ties are.
I am a super nerd, I love everything video games, politics, movies, and with that you can expect a lesson that relates to you every single time.
I am a very friendly person and would love to feel like the favorite teacher you never had. I will guide you through this beautiful yet complex language and make each class perfect for your needs.

Forget the boring phrases, and lessons. My style is modern and exciting. You will learn through movies, songs, current culture, and humor.
During the first free session we will go over all of your learning goals, and what teaching method I will likely apply to teach you Portuguese. I am quite fond of fully immersive learning tactics, that is actually how I am currently teaching myself French and Spanish. So expect Brazilian movies, songs, and anything that you see in your day-to-day English life but in Portuguese as homework.
