About Amanda
Born and bred in Perth, I have worked in many industries including retail, finance, hospitality, teaching and marketing. Over 15 years ago I started traveling, primarily in Europe, then India and Vietnam. I loved sharing experiences and knowledge with people from all over the world and learning about different cultures. This led me into teaching English as a Second Language and I have worked with students from all corners of the world! I also discovered I love to help people, and with so many people dreaming of moving to Australia to study, work and live, assisting people with English test preparation for visas and such was a fantastic way to contribute. So, now back in Perth, I continue teaching casually and look forward to helping each and every student to realize their dreams.

Hi Everyone! I work with you to improve your IELTS or PTE test scores to help you through visa or student enrollment applications! My lessons are typically 45 mins to 1 hour, online. If you are located in Perth it is possible to work together in-person. I have 4 years experience successfully preparing students from Europe, Asia and India for the IELTS. As most students tend to struggle with the speaking and listening sections, I prefer to focus on these. In a typical lesson, we would look at practice exercises and identify key challenges, you would practice them live in the lesson while I take notes, then we review together and work on improving your level. I know very well how the speaking and listening sections are marked and what the examiners look for, so my tips and tutoring will help you improve your scores efficiently! I also offer CV editing and job interview practice. I have worked on both sides of the employment process in Australia (HR and employee) so know what will help your application to stand out and how best to prepare for interviews.
