About Ala
I am a native Arabic speaker who has lived in the United States since the age of 10, which has allowed me to become fully fluent and comfortable in English as well. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree, and I bring an academic, structured, and professional approach to my teaching.
Having grown up bilingual and bicultural, I understand the challenges language learners face and know how to explain concepts clearly from a learner’s perspective. My lessons are well-organized, practical, and tailored to each student’s level, goals, and learning style.
I focus on building strong foundations in speaking, listening, reading, and comprehension, while helping students gain confidence using the language in real-life situations. I am patient, reliable, and committed to maintaining a supportive and respectful learning environment.

I use a student-centered approach, combining conversation, guided practice, and simple explanations. Grammar and vocabulary are always taught in context, so students understand how and when to use them naturally.
