About Ryan
Swimming has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’m a passionate competitive swimmer based in Perth, Western Australia, and I currently train up to six times per week while preparing for two 20-kilometer open-water races.
Because I continue to train and compete myself, I understand the discipline, challenges and commitment involved in improving as a swimmer. I genuinely love the sport and enjoy sharing that passion with others.
Coaching gives me the opportunity to pass on what I have learned, help swimmers overcome technical barriers and show them what they are capable of achieving. Whether someone wants to build confidence, improve their technique or compete at a high level, I find it incredibly rewarding to help them progress.

Dive into Success with Tailored Swim Coaching!
Every swimmer is unique, but the path to high performance isn’ the same for everybody. My coaching style adapts to your needs, finding the perfect instruction, analogy, or movement cue that makes the technique click for you. I excel at quickly identifying faults in your stroke and simplifying complex issues into one or two clear focus points, supported by targeted drills. This approach ensures noticeable improvements in a short time.
In our 30-60 minute sessions, you'll receive a comprehensive assessment, focused technical work, practical drills, and immediate, actionable feedback. I also offer personalized swim programming, whether you're training for fitness, competition, or just starting out.
With an Australian Swim Coach Licence, a Masters swimming coaching qualification, and the AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification, I cater to children and adults of all levels.
