About Rudy Syafrudin
Rudy, an Information Technology professional and a member of the Teachers' Council of Paguron Penca Silat Nampon—a historic traditional silat school that has existed since the 1930s. For over 30 years, he has pursued this martial art not only as a sport, but as a way to understand how the human body, mind, and energy work together.

A technique involves concentrating power on a single point (focus), encompassing movement, breath, eyes, thoughts, and feelings simultaneously and continuously. All of these elements encompass aspects of self-care, art, mental spirituality, and health. In the initial stages, you will learn how to synchronize movement between your breath, eyes, teeth, arms, legs, and entire body. The full-body thrust at the end of the technique delivers a burst of energy (bioelectricity) throughout the body, similar to shock therapy using electricity to treat heart disease.
