About Tristan

I am currently doing my bachelors in reading university. I have started playing the piano at the age of 5, achieving the qualification of 8th grade in piano ABRSM, as well as competing in competitions in Hong Kong, with champion in one of the inter-school competitions being the most remarkable one.

I enjoy playing the piano in my free time, as well as sharing my passion to others. Currently I’m teaching 7 students.

About the lesson

In my lessons, I employ a personalised approach, tailoring each lessons to the student skills and musical preferences. For someone who just kick started piano, or someone who’s trying to learn a particular song I would be there to assist. Not only grasp fundamental techniques, but also develop a genuine passion towards playing the piano. As a person who played the piano for most my life, I have been fortunate to experience different teaching methods. I understand what difficulties that student faces and will definitely help there overcome them.
