I begin by learning each student's preferred genres and current abilities, then create a personalized pathway. A typical 60-minute session opens with finger dexterity exercises, moves to chord or scale work, dedicates time to a chosen song, practices rhythm patterns, and closes with a short recap. What makes me different is my focus on learning by ear instead of relying on tabs, fostering true musical self-sufficiency. My students are beginners and intermediate players from age twelve upward.
