About Chantel
Hi, My Name is Chantel I am from a small town in Johannesburg South Africa. Iam a qualified Facilitator and Assessor. I train and facilitate primary school students, High school students and Adults in maths and English. I also have so experience in assisting the nursery school kids. I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to my students. I believe in community, to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to my students and my job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage my students and also help my students to meet their goals.

I would describe it as highly adaptable. I do not really prefer one teaching method, or one way of interacting with the students in my lesson. Because in my opinion, each student is different, so is each lesson, and a good teacher should always adjust their teaching to their audience, the level of discipline in the class, the difficulty of the lesson, and so on. I simply prefer individual approach to teaching, and I alternate between being an authority, demonstrator, facilitator, and delegator. So far it has been working great, so I have no reason to doubt the effectiveness of my teaching style. The language in which I teach is English and I can tutor anything in English. Students can expect that, I will bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to my students. I believe in community, to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to my students and my job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in my students as well.
