About Carson
I am a 21 year old male that lives in the salt lake valley and enjoys outdoor recreation like running, hiking, climbing, skateboarding, yoga, and swimming. I am a student at SLCC studying English and Plumbing technology. I graduated from Corner Canyon High School and was a student athlete who played lacrosse. I believe that English is the most critical subject, it allows you to communicate, understand and have relationships with the people around you

My specialty is reading and writing. I make a good proofreader for essays and help the student understand the structure and strategies of putting together an essay. I do this by walking them through the process step by step. I can help the student make valid arguments, pull information from texts, and have good overall structure/organization.
When it comes to reading I show the student how to understand what it is they are reading through annotation as well as offer other strategies that will not only help them understand the text but strategies that will force them to become stronger readers/students
