About Ashton
I have been taking music lessons since I was 14 years old, and I play multiple instruments. My primary instrument is voice, but I also play bass guitar and viola, and I have extensive experience on saxophone, with some experience on piano and other instruments. I have been composing since I was 15, and I continue to compose to this day, with my works centering on themes and inspirations of nature, seasons, and the natural world.

I enjoy discussing music and helping others understand the theory behind it. I also give resources and exercises to do outside of the lesson time, as a way to help students learn the material and improve their skills. I encourage asking questions, as this helps me guide a student's learning and help them understand anything that may not be clicking for them.
