About Despina
Despina is an experienced Guitar Tutor, musician and a Music Psychology specialist (MA University of Sheffield). Despina has developed techniques and created a course where you can find the techniques that she is using (upon request).
Despina is also a poet with published poems ( Anthology, Meu Útero é uma Bomba!) - a publication of the university of Lisbon).

Together, we will talk about the music that you like and discover ways to take advantage from it. The sessions are suitable for all music lovers; and will be tailored to the needs and taste of the students. The methods used are developed from research on music psychology and include creating personalised playlists. If you have musical skills (playing an instrument singing etc) we will develop healthy practice techniques and get started with improvising. Other techniques include combining other art forms such as creating writing, poetry and meditation.
The benefits that you might hope for are: to uplift your mood, to enhance your concentration, motivation and relaxation.
