About Marc
I am Marc, singing and theatre teacher with 25 years of experience. I studied vocal studies, musical and music theatre.
I teach singing and theatre and also direct and coach music theatre, cabaret and circus theatre. On my many travels I have participated in a number of projects, such as a peace circus in Israel and Palestine and theatre and music workshops for Syrian refugee children in Jordan. Now I travel with my family and offer online classes.

Singers who move you are not necessarily the singers with perfect technique; it's the singers who let you close, who tell you a story. I would like to teach you how to sing like this, so that you can find your own expression and move people with your singing.
Together we will enter a process in which you learn to stay close to yourself and tell a story in this way. We look at what moves you and what the lyrics mean to you. You learn techniques to convey your story and to link your emotions and experiences to a song. You will learn the differences between different types of songs, like narrative and lyrical songs.
In my lessons I use the technical aspects of singing to support the process: where necessary we deal with singing technique, breathing techniques, diction, different styles of singing, and presentation.
Because I am not only trained in singing, but also in dance, acting, cabaret and personal development, I approach my lessons in a multidisciplinary way: you are also very welcome with me for more than just singing, such as cabaret, music theatre, musical and even circus theatre.

Perfect! Marc heeft me in een aantal lessen klaargestoomd voor een auditie. Hij heeft me heel goed tot nadenken gezet over de tekst en me geholpen hierin allerlei nieuwe inzichten te krijgen. Hoewel ik uiteindelijk een andere rol gekregen heb dan de rol die ik voor ogen had, heb ik nog nooit zo zelfverzekerd een auditie kunnen doen! Dankjewel Marc!
