About Jeenee

I am a multi-instrumentalist who has been playing music for over 15 years with a BA in music, a Master's of Education and have been teaching music for over 10 years.

But all this is not as meaningful and my dedication to making learning accessible for everyone. I believe anyone can do just about anything with a bit of determination and the right teacher.

I am empathetic, understanding and take a supportive approach to teaching, Its my job to determine what you need to reach your goals and design my instruction around that.

About the lesson

Weather you are a beginner or have been playing music for years I can help you take your abilities to the next level.

I will break down difficult concepts and techniques into approachable steps, help you master them and play the music you have always wanted. I can also help you with RCM exams or university auditions and have had students succeed at both.

What makes my lessons different is I put you, the student, at the center. I will meet you where you are to take you to the next step, adapting the content in whatever way I need to to make it achievable for you. With a few victories under your belt you will feel excited and motivated to keep going and reach your goal which may have felt impossible at the start.

A typical lesson with start with a review and outlining the lesson ahead and what we are working on. Then we will bridge that into the new material we are working on, usually some fundamental skill or technique which is isolated so we can master it on its own. Then we connect it back with other skills that have already been mastered to apply the new skill in moving towards your goal.
