About Micah
I have an immense passion for music that I want to share with others. I love learning how music works in a multitude of ways and sharing what I’ve learned throughout the years with others. Tutoring is an excellent way to do that! I’ve been tutoring students in music theory for 3 years now and I always come away joyful and I hope to do the same with others!

It is very important to me that my students want to learn the things I show them. I ask my students what they want to learn from music and why. I then plan strategies based on what my teachers have taught me using resources for professional development. I am a very versatile musician and play 10 instruments proficiently, 3 of them professionally (Bass, Trombone, and Euphonium). I can teach at any level up to college!
