About Rosie
I am a second year music student at Durham University (from North Yorkshire) and passed my grade 5 theory when I was 13, I then went on to take my grade 8 theory at 15 as the youngest ever student to take the exam. I'm really keen to share what I know about theory to anyone wishing to quickly pass grade 5 theory so they can move onto their grade 6 exam! I enjoyed teaching my younger brother theory when he had to take the exam. Music theory always appears to be a bit of an obstacle for those taking ABRSM instrumental exams, and so I'm hoping to get students through it quickly whilst also realising it's really not as bad as it seems!

My teaching method will focus on taking students through past exam papers because this is by far the best method of learning what needs to be learnt for the actual exam. However, I will also make sure that with the lessons becomes a genuine understanding of music theory because it proves really helpful if the student takes their musical talent further.
