About Romain
I first learned drums at the conservatory while discovering the guitar as an autodidact, and then I played with many groups (progressive rock, blues rock, big band, ...), including ~ 30 concerts. More recently, I fell in love with the bass, which completes the “power trio”! I am now a teacher at the StartMusic63 school in Clermont-Ferrand. A rather academic approach (let's say "framed", to avoid the pejorative side) or rather instinctive are therefore both possible.

My approach is based above all on the pleasure of playing, without neglecting the technical bases necessary to be able to ... have *pleasure*! If you are just a beginner (regardless of age), I would suggest a program to acquire the basics and simple but fun pieces to play fairly quickly. For those who are more initiated, I can adapt to your expectations with for example:
--> study of pieces that you want to play, or that I will suggest to you according to your tastes
--> study composition and arrangement (basics of harmony), useful for playing in groups.
--> exploration of new styles, improvisation, etc ...
This list is suitable for everyone: the best thing is to discuss it and see how I can best meet your expectations!
