About Nova

With more than 5 years of experience, I am an experienced Flute instructor teaching School students, College students, and working professionals. I believe flute learning should be structured, practical, and enjoyable.

My tutoring style is student-centred. I focus on breath control, finger placement, tone quality, scales, rhythm practice, and musical interpretation. Lessons are flexible and adjusted to suit individual learning needs.

I value open communication and consistent practice. I explain concepts step by step and encourage students to ask questions. Accountability is ensured through planned practice schedules and regular progress reviews. Integrity is central to my teaching approach.

Along with flute instruction, I also teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, and performance preparation. I help students build confidence for exams and recitals.

My unique skill is adapting lessons for beginners as well as advanced learners. I aim to create a positive and motivating learning experience.

About the lesson

My flute teaching methodology is built on Communication, Creativity, and Flexibility, providing a fully personalised and engaging learning experience. I begin by understanding each student’s skill level, goals, and learning style to design lessons tailored to their individual needs.

Communication is central—I explain techniques such as posture, breath control, finger coordination, articulation, phrasing, and sight-reading in a clear, structured, and accessible way. I encourage students to ask questions, provide feedback, and actively participate in their learning journey, which builds confidence and motivation.

Creativity is at the heart of my approach. I guide students to explore different musical styles, experiment with improvisation, and develop personal interpretations of pieces. Composition and creative expression exercises allow students to develop their own musical voice. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, interests, and challenges, making every session productive, inspiring, and enjoyable.

Alongside flute instruction, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, and sight-reading to develop complete musicianship. My methodology ensures students develop technical mastery, expressive skills, and performance confidence, while cultivating a lifelong love for music and a meaningful connection to their instrument.
