Ben gave me some introductory lessons since I was curious to learn about Ableton and music production. He is seriously passionate about what he does and is very talented at it too, having released tracks on multiple labels at the age of twenty years old. Still, with his high quality and advanced level music production he is able to explain the basics in the most didactic and patient way, while sharing his passion for the art form. Ben also knows how to diversify. While Ben enjoys listening and making very specific types of music such as techno, ambient techno, he has shown that he enjoys and is able to create a range of styles, having produced garage, R n b styles and also with jazz influences more recently. I have seen how much Ben cares about his students and the attention he gives to them, tailoring his approach to the interests and influences of each. Ben is an excellent tutor from beginner to more advanced and I could not recommend him more.

I know Ben as my flatmate, and he took the time to teach me the basics of music production when I mentioned I was curious about it, and he has done this for most of our friends. He’s incredibly enthusiastic about music production, and that energy really makes learning with him enjoyable and motivating.
