About Harley
I began my journey with music production at the age of 13 (12 years ago), experimenting with GarageBand. Since then, I have become fluent in music production and electronic music creation.
During my time at Bradley University (2016-2021), I was a part of a concert band, an indie punk band, a jazz ensemble, and a music promotion club. On top of that, I was also discovering my personal sound through a hip hop project known as Tyronic.
Once graduating with a degree in Graphic Design, I began pursuing my solo career in music once more under the name Harley Omega. Since then, I am now the drummer for a metal project named Liquid Matriarch, the bassist/supporting vocalist for the indie rock band Rain Garden, and occasionally a DJ on the side. My current solo ventures involve a story telling narrative weaved through electronic/hip hop production. I have played all over the city of Chicago and other places in the US with hopes to tour in 2025.
My comfort genres are Hip Hop, Metal, Electronic/EDM, Alternative and Industrial.

-Lessons can be for any one of any level of music proficiency, we can adjust the material as needed.
- Lessons can be taught on any DAW (FL Studio, Logic, Beatlab, GarageBand, Ableton). However Ableton & GarageBand/ Logic are preferred.
-We will be understanding MIDI controllers and other gear. Which ones to get, how to fully utilize the ones you have, and how to understand gear.
-We will be going into depth on sound design, Synths, Waveforms, Drum Machines and more to give you the tools to sculpt unique sounds.
-We will also be able to discuss how to record yourself and others, and understanding recording equipment.
-We will lightly touch on Mixing and Mastering, and what to look for in your mix.
