About Maeve
I am from the north of England (Newcastle and then The Lake District), but I now live in London.
I studied French and Music at the University of Leeds, where I spent a year in the south of France. After graduating I worked in Glasgow for two years.
I recently finished a masters in music, and I work freelance as a composer for music production libraries. I also produce and release pop music under the name Maebh- I sing, play fiddle, guitar and piano, and a bit of whistle!

When it comes to fiddle, I can help you discover your style, teach you new tunes and techniques to take you to the next level.
My lessons are friendly and flexible, and my approach is about building as much confidence as possible. I know first-hand that you don't practice if you're not enjoying yourself or feeling inspired, so that's goal number one!
I graduated with a first-class degree in music and French from the University of Leeds, and I recently finished a masters in music composition from Goldsmiths.
I have been playing fiddle since the age of six, and have played in numerous bands, at ceilidhs, weddings and festivals.
My experience in teaching :
-Over two years in UK primary schools (ages 3-11)
-One year teaching English in French high schools
