About Eric
I am a professional musician in the Lincoln area. I have years of teaching experience with a wide variety of age levels. I have been a band director for public schools in Illinois, and have taught private lessons to students ranging from 6-year old beginners, to college music majors.
I love teaching music, and I am an active performer. I have performed with groups such as the Hastings Symphony, the Lincoln Municipal Band, the Quincy Symphony, the Knox-Galesburg Symphony, and the Chicagoland Educator's Orchestra.

In our lessons, you will learn the fundamentals of performing music, Early on, we will focus on getting you comfortable with the instrument, then develop your ability to read music. The primary goal have for all of my students is musical independence. Eventually, I want a student to not need my help anymore.

Details
Rate: $30 for a half hour for a Zoom lesson
$35 for an in-person lesson.
The extra $5 for in person lessons is to pay for the room rental at Dietze music.
