About Ellie

I have been playing cornet/trumpet for 15 years and have achieved degree level skills through out this time, having studied at the University of Manchester under Gary Farr, sub-principal trumpet player for the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.

I love to help people of all ages and skill level find enjoyment in music making, preparing them for grades if desired, or just helping them to gain the skills to play a specific piece. I have put two pupils through exams so far and they have achieved high marks in their exams, which I am very proud of.

My main target for my students is that, no matter their reason for playing, they enjoy it and grow in confidence!

About the lesson

I aim to make the lessons engaging and fun, tailored to the specific needs of the student in order to increase skills and connection to the music. The lessons will break down the music into sections with the aim of improving each section in a way that the student understands and suits.
