About Leon
I am an experienced musician with a strong passion for the arts and mathematics. With a degree in music, and grade 8 piano, I can provide wisdom to music students of any level looking for help with music theory and general guidance about their options in the future.
I also offer tutoring in mathematics as I have a strong intuitive understanding of the topic with an A at A level and an A* at GCSE level.
All tutoring will be of the highest professionalism with the student's aims and success solely in mind.
My primary job is in the film industry as a sound recordist, and in my free time I like to read, play piano and compose music.

I provide lessons in music theory to undergraduate university level and mathematics for A level and GCSE students
On first meeting I will assess the student's current level and their aims. Then I will build a structured pathway to reach these aims going over each topic at the student's pace, encouraging curiosity and open discussion.
Qualifications:
2:1 Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Birmingham
A*AA A levels in Music, Mathematics and Philosophy
Grade 8 piano
A typical lesson will last around an hour
