About Jake
Hi, I'm Jake and I'm a second year music student at the University of Cambridge. I'm an approachable (and hopefully fun) person even when what we're studying isn't. I'd love to get to know you and see how I can help with your educational journey.
I am also neurodiverse so can maybe better understand certain struggles that can get in the way of education sometimes if that is applicable.

If you're struggling with confidence or finding it hard to engage with your subjects, something I experienced myself, I'd love to help.
I'm currently studying Music at the University of Cambridge and offer online tuition in GCSE English, GCSE Maths, GCSE Music, A-Level Maths, and A-Level Music, all of which I achieved a Grade 9 or A* in. My lessons are tailored to each student, making challenging topics enjoyable, engaging, and easier to understand.
I believe that building confidence and fostering genuine interest in a subject are the most important parts of tutoring – better grades naturally follow. I'm happy to discuss lesson times, lengths, and teaching styles to make sure every student gets the most out of each session.
Alongside tutoring, I have experience volunteering in primary schools, working at summer camps with young people up to age 17, and mentoring students in sixth form, so I'm confident in supporting learners of all abilities in a friendly and encouraging way.
