I am a Music Education major at BYU with 15+ years experience with violin, and 10+ years with choirs and voice. I focus on technique, but adapt my teaching to individual students to make it fun!

About Elsa
I've taught private lessons for a year. I love seeing students grow and thrive as they improve their skills and gain confidence!
I've led volunteer choirs and was the concertmaster of my high school orchestra. I'm currently a part of the BYU Music Education program.

About the lesson

My lessons are 45 minutes long.
We go over proper posture, warm-ups, and healthy techniques.
For violin students I begin teaching from Suzuki, and move onto other books once they can read basic music.
I begin with folk songs for my singers. We work on breathing and expression.
I thrive teaching beginning and intermediate students, but am happy to accept advanced students as well.
