About Maite
I am a Student, I have never tutored for money. I have helped classmates and younger siblings with homework as well as studied French for 8+ years of my life. In addition, I lived in Luxembourg where French is mandatory in school. I also grew up with a French maid in the group home I lived in and took frequent vacations to France in the Summer for 6 years. I have both GCSE and A-Level French qualifications. It is a language I am not only familiar with, but also feel comfortable with.

I am a very understanding and patient teacher. I believe that practice makes perfect and that every person learns at a different pace, so my approach is to assess what level the person I am teaching is at, and go from there. I believe that in addition to the lessons, a 5-10 min homework to revise what was done or learnt that day is always helpful in seeing what was understood, and what needs to be worked on further.

Free cancelations must be done with 24h notice. If lesson is cancelled after, you will have to pay 50% of your usual fee. There is a 2x emergency policy, where you can cancel the lesson without notice twice without being charged due to an emergency
