About Hope
I am an Associate Sustainability Consultant with over a decade of professional experience working across carbon, energy, and sustainable design in the built environment.
Alongside my consultancy career, I previously worked as a science technician in a secondary school, supporting practical learning across biology, chemistry, and physics, and supporting A-level students for three years.
I have also worked with children and young adults since the age of 16, developing strong, informal training in effective communication and learner engagement.
I want to teach because I understand both the academic and professional sides of learning, and the gap that often exists between them. Tutoring allows me to combine industry expertise with a clear, supportive teaching style, helping students build confidence, deepen understanding, and apply sustainability knowledge meaningfully in education and future careers.

My approach to private tutoring is practical, personalised, and results-focused.
I tailor each session to the student’s background, learning style, and goals, whether academic or professional.
Complex sustainability and carbon topics are broken down into clear, structured explanations, supported by real-world industry examples.
I prioritise building confidence alongside technical understanding, helping students not only learn the theory but apply it effectively.
Sessions are interactive, supportive, and designed to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and independent learning, ensuring students feel equipped to progress confidently in their studies or sustainability-focused careers.
