About Ava
I’m a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MSc in Nuclear Physics. My teaching goes beyond textbooks—I integrate geophysics and earth sciences to make physics meaningful and connected to the real world. I guide students in exploring topics like plate tectonics, seismic waves, and climate physics through the lens of physical principles. By combining physics with data analysis and modelling, I help learners understand the Earth's structure, atmospheric dynamics, and geological processes. My teaching approach in Physics is systematic, clear, and designed to make complex ideas easier to understand. My teaching style supports learners who enjoy building, exploring, or understanding how things work deeply. I give regular and helpful feedback so students know what they’ve mastered and where they can improve. I make sure they understand the ‘why’ behind every concept, not just the formula. Lessons are paced to suit each student’s learning style and curiosity. I encourage questions, foster curiosity, and create a space where no idea is too small to explore.
