About Ira
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MPhil in Physics. My teaching goes beyond traditional physics, blending science with art and restoration. I focus on how light interacts with pigments, material analysis, and conservation science to help students understand the physics behind preserving art. I use real art historical examples to make lessons engaging and relevant. By exploring non-destructive testing principles and the physical properties of art materials, I offer a unique interdisciplinary approach. I enjoy working with art history students, conservationists, and anyone curious about the science behind masterpieces.
