About Joshua
Hello! I’m Josh, a Master’s in Computer Science graduate at the University of Saskatchewan, with a Bachelor’s degree from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan. My professional journey includes working as a Research Assistant studying AI safety and adversarial attacks, interning as a Research Software Engineer, and teaching assistant roles where I’ve guided students in building real-world software solutions—often integrating cutting-edge AI technologies. I’ve published my research work at A-ranked international conferences, showcasing research on AI and software. Outside of academics and industry, I volunteer as an audio mixer and lighting operator. I’m also fluent in English, Indonesian, and Chinese. I’ve taught and mentored students from various backgrounds, in most programming languages, such as Python, and more. My teaching approach is adaptable, supportive, and focused on helping students not just complete tasks, but truly understand the concepts behind them. I’m passionate about making programming engaging, practical, and rewarding—whether you’re preparing for a career in tech, working on a school project, or exploring AI and software development for fun.
