About Amy
As an MSc student in Cognitive Neuroscience at UCL and an experienced tutor, I am confident that my strategic approach can help you or your child improve in any desired area of study. My expertise extends to working with individuals with diverse learning needs, particularly in brain injury neurorehabilitation. I have also volunteered as a Research Assistant in forensic and vestibular neuroscience settings, which enables me to provide guidance on writing biostatistical results, using IBM SPSS software.
I have been awarded The British Psychological Society Undergraduate Award 2022 and the Elaine Gladstone Prize for Highest Overall Performance 2022. In addition to academic tutoring, I offer music lessons in music composition. As a former 1st Desk Violinist of the Beechfield Youth Orchestra and a former Violinist of the Sheffield Philharmonic Orchestra, I have performed at prestigious venues like Sage Gateshead, the Crucible Sheffield, and CAST Doncaster. I have also composed and conducted music for orchestra, adding a unique element of creativity to my music tuition.
Furthermore, I am skilled in providing guidance on career path and personal statement writing, CV writing, proofreading, and editing for various academic levels.
Thank you for considering my tutoring services. Please feel free to contact me for further information.

I integrate multiple modalities required for learning into my lessons: visual learning, listening, communicating learned information, methods for memorising, and methods for cueing recall of information.
Lessons typically last 50 minutes to an hour with time to ask questions before lesson ends.
I graduated in BSc Psychology at the top of my year in 2022, and am currently pursuing an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience, specialising in computational modelling in epilepsy research. I have A-levels in Biology, English Literature, Music, and Religious Studies, which I took in 2013.
I have been a tutor for three years with excellent feedback and many of my A-level students going off to their top university choices. My lessons are for anyone up to Master's level study.
