About Gayathri

I hold a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience, with academic training in cognitive psychology, neuroscience, neuroimaging, research methodology, and scientific writing. My research experience includes analysing functional brain connectivity using fMRI, critically evaluating scientific literature, and communicating complex concepts in a clear and structured way.

I am passionate about helping students at every stage of their learning journey, from those discovering Psychology for the first time to University students tackling advanced topics. I understand that Psychology can feel overwhelming, especially when faced with unfamiliar theories, scientific research, or complex assignments. My goal is to make learning approachable by breaking difficult concepts into logical, engaging, and easy-to-understand explanations.

I am committed to providing well-prepared, personalised, and professional lessons tailored to each student's goals. Whether you are aiming to build a strong foundation, excel in examinations, or deepen your understanding of Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience. I will support you in developing confidence, critical thinking and independent learning skills.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to your individual learning needs, whether you are preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, university exams, improving your understanding of challenging concepts, working on assignments, or planning a dissertation project.

I aim to break down complex topics such as biological psychology, cognitive psychology, neuroscience, neuroimaging, cognitive processes, and research methodology into clear, easy-to-understand frameworks. I use visual explanations, concept mapping, and real-world examples to strengthen understanding and promote long-term learning rather than passive memorisation.

Lessons are designed to build both subject knowledge and academic skills. School and A-Level students receive structured support with exam preparation and mastering key concepts, while university students can also receive guidance with academic writing, essay planning, research projects, and interpreting scientific literature. My goal is to help every student build confidence, think critically, and develop a deeper understanding of Psychology.
