My Teaching Approach and Methodology
As a Senior Educator with an MPhil in English Literature, I provide a high-level academic experience that bridges the gap between basic understanding and critical mastery. For A-Level Literature, I focus heavily on Assessment Objectives (AOs), particularly historical context and comparative techniques. For O-Level and IGCSE (including Edexcel and Cambridge), I prioritize structural precision and linguistic flair. Every session is tailored to the specific rubric of the exam board to ensure students are writing exactly what examiners want to see.
Lesson Structure and Duration
Typical Length: Lessons are 60 minutes long. This allows for 10 minutes of review, 40 minutes of deep-dive content (analysis or drafting), and 10 minutes of exam-style practice.
Format: Lessons are conducted online, utilizing digital whiteboards and shared documents for real-time essay feedback and collaborative brainstorming.
