About Katherin
I am an experienced piano tutor with 7 years of professional teaching experience. I teach high school students, college students, and adults, and I have guided nearly 300 students in their musical journey.
My teaching philosophy focuses on clear communication and personalised learning. I believe students learn best when lessons are simple, well-structured, and motivating. I take time to understand each student’s strengths and challenges before planning lessons.
I emphasise essential piano skills such as finger control, rhythm accuracy, coordination, and music reading. I also help students develop musical expression so they can play with confidence and feeling. Practical exercises and familiar pieces are used to make learning enjoyable.
A key achievement in my teaching career is helping students overcome hesitation and fear while playing piano. Many learners have improved their confidence and performance ability under my guidance.
My aim is to support students with patience and encouragement while helping them reach their musical goals. I strive to make piano learning a positive and rewarding experience.

In addition to piano lessons, I teach related subjects like music theory, rhythm control, chord progressions, sight reading, ear training, and basic improvisation. These skills help students become independent and expressive musicians. My aim is to make piano learning meaningful, enjoyable, and practical.
