About Griffin
Driven by an unshakeable determination, I am committed to the success of every student, never accepting defeat. In my view, there is always a unique approach to reach each individual. Going above and beyond is my standard, driven not by external pressures but by an intrinsic desire to fully engage with every topic, task, or job. Having spent my formative years in Hawai'i and later transitioning to Riverside, California, I carry the values of aloha and kindness instilled in me from childhood. With a musical journey spanning over 10 years, I have expertise as a producer/engineer in Rock, Electronic, Hip Hop, and Experimental genres, and I am skilled in playing bass and guitar. Proficient in the DAW Logic Pro X, my knowledge extends to Pro Audio, and I possess a thorough understanding of guitar parts, maintenance, and accessories.

Welcome to my songwriting class, where you will learn how to create your own original music, regardless of the genre you prefer. This class is suitable for seasoned beginner + newly intermediate musicians, with access to a musical instrument and/or a Digital Audio workstation, preferably Logic Pro.
My program is designed to help students develop a self-driven approach to songwriting that encourages individual creativity while providing a foundation in essential techniques. Whether you’re writing lyrics or composing melodies, we’ll guide you through every step of the process.
As part of my commitment to personalized instruction, I work closely with each student to understand their unique interests and goals. Together, we’ll explore various styles and techniques for creating music that resonates with your unique perspective.
You can expect an immersive learning experience that includes exercises in melody improvisation, lyric composition, instrumentation, arrangement, and much more. My methods apply to any genre, and borrows practices from multiple disciplines and styles.
I will show you how to unleash your chaotic, and childlike creative flow, in order to harness ideas, and then use your tasteful, discerning, and objective inclinations to sort through only the most outlier ideas.
