About Anya
I am a Modern Languages student (second year) at the University of Cambridge, offering French, Latin, Spanish and EPQ tutoring (literature, written and oral elements all included) up to A-Level standard. Oxbridge mentoring is also included for those looking to continue with languages. I have experience in tutoring these languages to younger years, including training through the Minimus (Latin teaching) scheme. I achieved four A*s (French, Latin, Spanish and EPQ) at A-Level, and an academic grant for my first year results at university.

I firmly believe that a friendly approach to teaching is necessary for students to succeed confidently. Of course, when it comes to grammar and language, the prospect of learning foreign languages can seem tedious and daunting; this is why I prefer to not take a conventional approach with regards to language. Whether this means encouraging student interaction through reading genuine foreign language texts and discussing the language structures, or through games, I aim to help students become more confident and accurate.
