About Loundjah

Loundjah is a free and creative dancer, choreographer and teacher. She explores the world of dance and free movement. Passionate, captivating and rather mystical, she embodies a force that is both powerful and subtle. Endowed with a charismatic presence and a great power of interpretation. The path of Loundjah takes shape in the fusion of energies and cultures, for her, dance is free and absolutely universal. Ophélie Rahif aka Loundjah is a choreographic artist of the show She has been taking dance lessons since the age of 6. At 18, she enriched her training as a professional dancer at IFPRO-CIDJ (Center International de Danse Jazz) in Paris in classical, jazz and modern dances (Horton and Graham techniques), then in contemporary dance at RIDC (Rencontres Internationale Danse Contemporaine) ). She then obtained her Technical Aptitude Exam (EAT) in contemporary dance. At the same time, she became certified as a trainer in contemporary oriental dances (training with Assia Guemra and the International Dance Council - Unesco) and joined the Tellurgie company. She continues to improve regularly in oriental and tribal fusion dances during intensive workshops with notably, Assia Guemra, Yaël Zarca, Mahaila el Helwa, Piny Orchidacae, Sharon Kihara, Rachel Brice, Moria Chappell, Josefine Wandel, Mardi Love, Kira Lebedeva, Olga Meos,, Michelle Sorensens, Ebony Qualls… In 2017, she set up several educational projects around choreographic creation within the Valois Dance and Music Conservatory in Crépy en Valois (formerly the Dance Factory) and also created a company of young dancers and “COMPAGNIE JUNIOR” dancers, which she trains in contemporary dance, and stages numerous times during choreographic encounters, shows and international competitions, particularly in Belgium. In October 2018 she choreographed a piece that she presented in the first part, of the show of the company Hervé Koubi “What the day owes to the night”. She dances alongside international artists, and performs at events including: Cairo BY Night (La Cigale in Paris), Back To The Roots (Le Kalinka in Toulouse), Moonlight Show (Paris), French Tribal Style (Paris) ), Tribal Geek (Paris), Reborn Tribal Fest (Paris), Tribal Voodoo Fest III (Trocadéro de Liège), The tribal Moonlight Fest (Aix en Provence), Purple Boudoir (Paris) She is a choreographer and performer for several theater companies . Among other things, she has the chance to participate in the Festival d'Avignon in July 2019. In 2020, she creates her professional company which she calls the company ORAH.

About the lesson

Private and personalized lessons according to your experience, your availability and your objectives. - discover dance, familiarize yourself with your body. - train (different levels) - improve. - regular training of the dancer. - Workshops and Internships - prepare for a competition, an audition. - Learn a choreography for an event (wedding, private parties etc ...) - Outside view (choreography) According to your request we will use different specific languages: contemporary dance, oriental dance (bellydance) and tribal fusion, or urban dances (urbanfusion), or free dance (ecstatic dance) in the form of improvisation workshops. Unless there is a specific theme, each class begins with a bar on the ground inspired by yoga to reveal the body, then come the sheathing then the endurance before continuing on the technical part with various forms of sequences in space dressed in combinations of more or less complex movements, memory, coordination, understanding of the dance movement and proprioception. The training of the dancer requires first of all a great motivation, rigor and especially a lot of love for what one does!
