About Awolumate
Bonjour! My name is AWOLUMATE and I'm a French Language tutor/teacher with a passion for languages and cultural exchange. I've always been fascinated by the French language and culture. I teach French because I believe that language is a key to unlocking cultural understanding and connection. I'm excited to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with learners and help them develop their language skills and appreciation for French culture. As a modern tutor, I first try to establish a personal connection with my learners to know their interests, goals, and level of their French proficiency. This will help me to know the teaching approach to apply. Having ascertained this, I try to create a relaxed and welcoming environment for them where they feel comfortable. However, I use games, quizzes, and activities to make lessons more engaging and enjoyable for my learners. French language, being the second official language in Nigeria in which people don't speak for their day-to-day activities, I engage in conversations with the learners to improve their pronunciation and oral comprehension. Last but not least, I offer encouragement to motivate the learners and boost their confidence.
